A selection of music ranging from the Renaissance to the present day, from sonatas to folk songs, featuring solos from each artist.
This duo brings together two of Australia’s most internationally revered soloists. Melbourne-based Genevieve Lacey is quite simply one of the greatest recorder players on earth, and her dazzling virtuosity makes you rethink your whole attitude towards the instrument. Brisbane-based Karin Schaupp is one of the most outstanding guitarists on the international scene; she performs with a passion and poetry that has had composers falling over themselves to write works for her.

Tatiana is, at 24, a multi award winning pianist - Leeds, Minneapolis, Pretoria, Oslo (Grieg), Tel-Aviv (Arthur Rubinstein), Portschach (Brahams International), Zurich (Geza Anda International) and Paris (Vibrarte). It was her second place in the 2008 Sydney International Piano Competition that drew the attention of Australian audiences and she returns to our shores to satisfy the clamour of calls for more.

Program to be drawn from highlights of their capital city tour performances which feature works by BEETHOVEN, JANÁCEK, STANHOPE, SCHUMANN, SCHUBERT, BRAHMS, SZYMANOWSKI and Richard STRAUSS.
The Times has written that Alina Ibragimova performs with “a mixture of total abandonment and total control that is in no way contradictory” and that she is “destined to be a force in the classical music firmament for decades to come”.
