The Coffs Harbour Music Society has for the past 15 years presented a series of subscriber concerts featuring some of Australia's and the world's finest classical musicians drawn largely from the renowned Musica Viva program. Our subscriber base has, over that time, grown from approximately 90 to over 280. Our concert programme extends to six concerts a year divided into two separate series, one in the first half of the year, the other in the second half. Such is the demand for our concerts that they are held at the Coffs Harbour Education Campus in a superbly intimate but raked theatre seating approximately 350. Our Subscribers enjoy preferred seating at substantial discounts to individual concert ticket prices.

With the assistance of our sponsors we have been able to maintain prices at very affordable levels, often as much as 50% less than equivalent capital city performances.

If you are interested in the best of chamber music and are thinking of becoming a subscriber please contact Robin Renshaw on enquiries@coffsmusicsociety.com.au to obtain our current year's concert programme brochure (or use our contact form).

All concerts begin at 8 p.m. sharp at Lecture Theatre D, Coffs Harbour Education Campus, Hogbin Drive, Coffs Harbour.

As a non-profit organisation the Society has used any surplus funds for the advancement of fine music in the region. Over the years, the society has presented a series of smaller concerts/recitals at a variety of venues. These recitals have featured a heavy concentration on senior students from Australia's leading conservatoriums of music and professional musicians in the early years of their careers. By providing a showcase for their talents, the Society contributes to the ongoing development of their careers, and thereby ensures the future of top grade performance through the Musica Viva programme.

In addition, the Society has, over the years, granted scholarships to a number of Coffs Harbour's musically talented youth to enable them to pursue their careers and organised master classes with visiting musicians for selected students to enable them to learn from, and play before, musicians of international repute. Our hope is that some of these local musicians may ultimately reach the pinnacle of their profession.
